Does anyone have a list of switches that I can have? What I need is a switch to use at the end of the Command line in the RunApp Action in a macro. With Access 97, I was able to us the /m switch to run a macro in Word 97. This switch doesn’t seem to work with Access 2002 and Word 2002.

I have looked all over Help and can’t find anything. There should be a list of these switches somewhere, shouldn’t there?

    Thanks.

      Recommend see MSKB article 209207:

ACC2000: How to Use Command-Line Switches in Microsoft Access

Also in Access Help, search for “startup” then select “Start Microsoft Access with command-line options” topic from list, then see “Start Microsoft Access with command-line options using a shortcut”. One of the links will produce a list of command line options. In some cases, with the other Office apps, the MSKB articles list startup switches not noted in Help file, but for Access the lists look pretty much the same. Recommend check both resources for full info. Don’t think there’s been much change from A2K to ACC 2002 as far as startup options go.

Do I understand that the issue is using RunApp to launch Word from within Access and pass a *Word* switch, not an Access command-line argument? If so, you might better ask the question in the Word forum.
