Sometimes when I click on something that should open a new email in Outlook, it is actually Outlook Express that opens. Why is is this, and how can I change it?

This happens, for instance, when I right click an address in my address book to send an email. Outlook Express opens up a new email. It doesn’t have my signature, of course, and OE is not set up with my settings so it cannot find my outgoing mail server etc and it all fails.

It also happens when I click on an email link in a web page.

In Internet Explorer (even if it is not your default browser) reset the Tools | Internet Options | Programs drop-downs to Outlook where applicable.

        Thanks John.
