How can a person stop Outlook from automatically making hyperlinks? I have even put spaces in the line, but it still does it. It is an address, but as a lot of machines do not accept hyperlinks, I need to get around it. You people are terrific. Thanks for the help.

If you are referring to Web page links, try leaving off the “http://” and see what happens.

In plain text format, Outlook will display a hyperlink but there is no hyperlink actually in the message body, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

In HTML format, I’m not sure whether you can turn the behavior off, but you can manually delete the hyperlink after Outlook creates it: arrow back to the hyperlink and choose Insert>Remove

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
