HP weekly deals are gone

Until last week you could purchase HP business desktops at substantial discounts.

No more.

A quick visit HP’s Weekly Deals website revealed that:

• No “business desktops” are on sale,
• No “business laptops” are on sale,
• 38 “desktops” are on sale,
• 51 “laptops” are on sale, and
• 20 “gaming” computers are on sale.

This is the first time, since its Good Friday sales, that HP has not discounted at least some of their “business” computers.

I know that their Z2 G9 Tower (business) Workstations are shipped from Mexico.

Are the Administration’s pending 25% tariffs on Mexican goods a factor contributing to HP’s termination of discounts of their business computers?

It was probably a lull in HP specials until the next periodic sale, which when I visited a couple of minutes ago was slated to begin in less than eleven hours (see the banners in blue and in gray):

As of today, HP’s President’s Day Sale website reveals that they are now offering discounts on:

• 59 “business desktops”,
• 40 “business laptops”,
• 38 “desktops” are on sale,
• 50 “laptops”, and
• 21 “gaming” computers.

And there appears to nominal to no price adjustments as a result of the recently imposed tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China.
