Is there a way of getting HP CP2025 printer software to run on SBS2003.

I have just had a wasted 190 mile round trip wasted day as HP ‘do not support Windows Server 2003 (or 2008)’

Hi David, what was the problem with the install? Was it the driver or the HP bloatware?

The HP support site shows that it will run from Server 2003 and I recently installed the same printer on SBS 2008.

If you need it, the driver can be downloaded from the HP site here.

We run HP 2025s as printers from our W2003 print servers so you should have no problems. We set an IP address on the printer and then add it in the server using the 32bit drivers.
Are you running 64 bit server?

The usual problem, as PaulT says, is the absence of 64-bit drivers. I’ve had to define a LaserJet 4100 printer on an SBS 2008 32-bit server because I couldn’t get it to install on the 64-bit server.
