Why does my printer keep printing the second page 1st.Driven me nuts.I checked in properties and it shows to be set up right.Of course it might be XP not liking the driver. What to do?

What program are you printing from?

This printer does this by default so when a print job is done it can removed from the printer all ready to staple or whatever. If you wish to reverse this order you can do it in printer properties. Properties–>General–>Printing Preferences–>Layout–>Page Order and select the other option-back to front instead of front to back–>click all of the apply and ok buttons and the print order will be reversed. cheers

Do you mean it prints page 2, then 1, then 3, 4, 5 etc?
Or just that it prints in reverse order?

Or maybe it is some sort of duplex function and prints in the order 2 1 4 3 6 5

Maybe we could move to the Puzzles board and see how many sequences starting 2, 1 we can justify

It is the default setting for this printer driver to print a job so when it is finished page 1 is on top and the last page is on the bottom all nicely collated. If you want to reverse the order to have it print with the last page on top and the first page on the bottom go to your Printer folder, right click on the printer and select properties, then click the Printing Defaults button in the lower left corner, put a dot in the circle “Back to Front” under “Page Order”. Click all the appropriate OK buttons and your done.
