Hello All, Its this anonymous guy again. I have had excellent discussions with Microfix (about LEDs) and Ascaris (about plastics on engines). I hope everyone is doing well.
I want to post about a problem we had and solved concerning a HP 1505n Printer, connected to the network but could NOT be installed no matter what we tried. It turned out that back with Windows 10 1809, a person had the same issue. It appears Microsoft had dropped the Printer Support for that model. By going to another Window 10 computer, and taking the specific WinSxS (side by side) folder that contained the HP driver information, We had success.
We did have to go through the motions of “clearing out” all of the previous HP Printer data , files, and spool area, but it worked.
Prior to using this method by brucemcdonald, we had spent 2 days on it, trying other ideas and drivers fro HP.

The first is about getting the driver from another PC, the second is how to clean-out the printer folders.
I hope this helps someone with a HP 1505n or *possibly* anyone with a printer that is not supported anymore with the newer Windows 10 by attempting the same method.
