I didn’t know number 1. Fill Handle. I said ‘Fill’.

OR … number 9. Format Painter. I said ‘Clipboard’

I’m arguing my answer for my first mistake as correct!

I also muffed #1 and said Data Series

For #9 I said Paste Special which is also a correct method I believe.

I think questions 1 & 2 are bad questions:

For question 1 I answered Fill Series which I think is correct. I do not think that Fill Handle is correct since it could also result in Fill Copy which would not do what was asked.

For question e I answered “None of the above” since Paste/Special/Transpose was not a choice and I think Pivot Table is not the best tool to do what was asked, even if it can accomplish the desired result it is to complicated for the asked question.

I got all the rest correct.

I also feel tha #6 ” Add $ before the cell reference ” was incorrect as this will provide only a partially absolute reference–the row will still be relative.

We all know too much. Wouldn’t it be a drag if for the quiz author if we gave him/her a list of the ‘actual answers’ ??

I got 9/10 when I tried it. As with the arguments being raised…I will give myself #1 as I answered Auto Fill since that is how I have come to know it.

It seems like were are ALL guru’s on Excel OR the quiz was too easy…although not judging by the scores of all the others who attempted the quiz.
