How to keep your Facebook privacy private

And an important component of those settings is defining what kind of friend you want your various friends to be.

I have two or three comments/questions about this article–
1) Facebook, like all the email providers and now a lot of the software programs requires for supplementary access, a cell phone, a pin and texting. I have a cell phone, but not a “smart phone”, which does not accept “SMS/SPS?” messaging. There appears to be NO OPTION to persons like me to b3 able to prove that I am who I am when I use the same computer through a different wireless site. Have lost four email addresses and the contents therein over the past 3 years. Does anyone know why these websites do not have another option for for supplementary access?

2) My Facebook account is somewhat different than yours. When I go to the Friends dropdown, I get a further set of options by clicking “CUSTOM” under “MORE OPTIONS”–and I subdivide the friends into FAMILY, Close Friends (Including distant family), Acquaintances (including junior-aged members of my extended family) and Limited Profile (for those friends who tend to post at the drop of a hat).

3) This is a little off-topic, but I find it very frustrating now with the new WS formats to have to log in every time I try to get to different ares of your website. I can never remember which of my FOUR login combinations (email address, nickname, passwords) to use where .

Great article Thanks.
This requires you to have the FB app installed on your phone, not going to happen with me. To get around that choose OTHER when you start the Login approvals and you will get notified without having to have the insidious app on your phone.
