      You best bet may be to decompile the database, then recompile.

      Sometimes Access, and especially Acess 2000, gets into a partially compiled state and sticks there. Then you have to do a decompile to get it completely decompiled so you can successfully compile it again.

        decomplie worked fine, I also got results opening a new DB and importing all objects from old DB into new DB.

        Is there a complie error log written anywhere?

        Is it normal to get an error message when compile finds a legitimate error?

          You always get an error when compile finds one, and the compile won’t continue until you fix the error. There is no provision for writing a compile error log to allow you to go back and fix a bunch of them at once. Access wants you to fix them as it finds them.
