Bear with me on this question; I’m used to the way that VB6 does things.

I have been creating an Access 2000 database that will, among other things, have the RichTextBox ActiveX control on one of the forms. Under VB6, I had to use the Distribution wizard to insure that all of the controls that were not part of the VB6 runtime were distributed with my application. Is the same thing true of Access, or will the ActiveX control be embedded in the mdb?

The ActiveX control won’t be embedded – it is an external file that has to be installed on the client PC.

Office Developer Edition comes with a Package and Deployment wizard, but if you do a search in this Forum, you’ll find that it gets mixed reviews at best. Your best bet might be to use Wise Installer or InstallShield to create an installation bundle.

That’s what I expected to hear. Thanks for the quick reply.
