Every time I try to burn a CD of files in Windows 10, I get stuck looking at a list of “Files Read to Be Written to Disc” and have no idea what to do next.

If I click Share> Burn to disc, I get the warning “The source and destination files are the same.” That makes sense in the context of what to do with the files I’ve highlighted, but no burn has taken place.

Eventually, somehow, through blind luck, I’ve been able to get the burning process started, but this is clearly the worst interface for a function I’ve ever seen. The on-line directions I’ve found imply that merely dropping the files into the burn list will start the burn process, but that never happens. Does anyone have a fool-proof method to do this? Thanks!
