    I have a Linksys Wireless 4 port Hub/DSL Access point. It’s great!!!
Recently I renovated the old shack in the back of the house and I wanted to run a CAT5 cable there that will hook directly to the 4-port. Its about a 50 foot run. Will this work? The wiring scheme is:

    Wht/Orange
    Wht/Blue
    Wht/Green
    Wht/Brown

    Thanks

      The distance is fine.
The wiring scheme is 10Mb/s so long as it is the same at both ends.
If you want 100Mb/s you need to have new ends put on the cat 5 cable. I prefer the “B” standard
