There are mixed 32-bit and 64-bit applications in my 12GB Windows 7 Home Premium PC. I understand Windows allocates no more than 4GB of memory for 32-bit system. How does Windows 7 allocate memory for mixed 32-bit and 64-bit applications? Does Win7 leave a block of 4GB of memory exclusively for those 32-bit applications and use the rest 8GB for those 64-bit applications?
