Okay, I did something foolish. I was going through the steps of my first secure database. I was removing all toolbars and the database container box. I closed out of my database to test it. Hey, it actually worked! Now, I want to add everything back to continue working on the database and I CAN’T! How can I get the startup box back to add access to everything again? Is there a way I can create some hidden button on a form that will allow me to do this easily, at will?

    thanks, christine

Try holding the shift key down when you start the database. That should stop the startup settings and let you get at the dlg to reset things.
