      You can’t, but you can remove them afterwards.

      Your question can be interpreted in some different ways, so, some more information would help.

      If you are talking about OS updates, SPs etc., the Package Installer will look for the largest partition/drive available and use that partition to extract the package. The folder should, under normal circumstances, be removed by the installer.

      Or extract the packages yourself, mentioned in some post [post=’654925′]here[/post].

      If you mean something else, come back with more information.

      Start>Run…

      type in %temp% and ok it

      delete all files and folders that come up in the explorer window as a result (note: you won’t be able to delete those temp files that are currently in use)

      If you do remove all the temp folders, beware – some application installers leave the uninstallers in the temp folders – you may not be able to cleanly uninstall those that have this poor coding.
