    Hi,

I just got a Microsoft keyboard and mouse. I am able to assign favorite programs to one of five keys on the keyboard for quick launch, but I must know the path of the program. One of the programs I would like to assign to a Favorites key is Word 2007. How do I determine the path of Word 2007 on my computer? What files do I go to?

    Thank you.

Depends also on the operating system.

On my Vista computer it is:

      C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice12winword.exe

Thanks Rebel and John for responding.

I have XP Pro, and following Rebel’s example, I was able to asisgn a program I use all of the time to the keyboard.

You all have a Good one and again, thank you…

In general, if you right click on a shortcut to a program, and view the Properties, the path to the program is in the ‘Target’ field.
