How Do I Eliminate VERTICAL & HORIZONTAL Tabs

    Hi All

Please review web site http://www.LewistonQueenstonRotray.org for reference.

I’m using a standard theme that cam with FrontPage 2000 Version 4.0.2.4426

Click on Club Newsletter Tab. This is where I list our newsletter for members to view, print or download.

On this page I would like to eliminate the horizontal tabs which are redundant and will eventually take up the entire page as additional newsletters are added in the future via Navigation design.

Click on the June 6, 2001 Newsletter. This is the content of the newsletter.

On this page I would like to eliminate the vertical tabs. This will give me more space for newsletter content.

On several occasions I’ve tried to eliminate these and can’t it right. It seems to change other pages as well.

I ‘m new to FrontPage, this is my first site, I need a 2nd grade explanation.

Thanks, for any help you may provide.

    John Graves

With the Navigation elements in a Shared Border (which is what I’m assuming you are using), your only option is to have a particular page use the Shared Border or not. If you edit the content of a shared border – you edit for ALL the pages in the website using a shared border.
In other words shared borders contain information that is the same across the entire website.
Wait a minute you say – my links change when I move from page to page. That is due to the Navigation component.
So, if you go to the Shared Borders dialog box while looking at the page in question, you will notice the option of changing which shared borders are used by the page (or the entire website). You simply turn off the shared border that you don’t want for that particular page – left/top whatever.
Navigation components can be inserted anywhere on a page. If they are not in a shared border you can change their orientation and behaviour.
