How can I get the motherboard manual for this computer?

Refurb HP ProBook 6560b Win7 Pro (x64) SP1 2.50 GHz Intel Core i5-2520M laptop

I would like to find the motherboard information for this computer
Belarc reports the main circuit board as: Hewlett-Packard 1618 KBC Version 97.4A
Serial Number: PCBMEB97V2O0SF Bus Clock: 100 megahertz

Can you point out where I can get that motherboard information?

Since I like to have the manual for the computers I have I compared one of the easiest items to check
The manual reports this computer supports PC3-10600, 1333-MHz, DDR3 memory
The installed memory in the computer has a Samsung 4GB 2Rx8 PC3-12800S-11-11-F3

5 possible MB models depending upon actual model number. Not that any of them give you information about them other than the H Part #.

FN according to the link you provided, I have either one of these 2 since it has the QM67 chipset

Calimanco the manual you posted also has those numbers in their list of system boards

It appears I have the Intel® QM67 Chipset, UMA Graphics with WWAN SPS: 646964-001 but unfortunately I haven’t found out how to acquire the manual, specs or anything else other than being offered to buy the board

But that’s ok. I’ve already pulled the laptop’s bottom cover and it looks pretty easy to work in there if I ever have you. Thanks for your help

There will not be a manual for a laptop MB.

Specs are nice but as you can see not readily available.

You can use software apps, including Windows own, to figure out all of the chips used in your system. There are rarely many hardware options present on a laptop MB for a owner to play with.

You have both graphics: Intel’s built in (in its CPU–specifically Intel® HD Graphics 3000) and discrete AMD 6400M). You should have drivers for both and a method for switching between the two as onboard is usually less energy draining.

Crucial, Kingston, etc memory advisers can tell you max RAM and kind.

A SATA HDD can be assumed to support up to 2TB HDD/SSD drives which is the current max fo a 2.5″ drive.

The wifi interface is important to know if a swap is planned.

Generally that is about it for options. That manual you were linked to listed a rather large selections of CPUs, but since mobile CPUs are not available in general you have to grab them off of a market like eBay. And they are rarely worth it.

Thanks for that info FN
When I removed the bottom panel it was all in one piece and that surprised me
And it appears to me it will be pretty simple if I have to ever replace any component “easy to get at”
I know, you can tell I’m not a computer hardware person but I am mechanically inclined and can follow instructions when I need to know how to figure out something

I did check Crucial and the Max RAM is 16GB and they match the installed SAMSUNG information
