In Hotmail, there is no convenient way to actually delete messages. When you delete a message it can be recovered and then you must mark each message to actually purge it from the system. There is no “Purge All” option. The best that I have been able to do is select about 20 at a time and then purge those. If you have hundreds of deleted emails, this is very tedious. If you have thousands, it is a horror show.

Does anyone know of a way to do this “Purge All”? I have googled it but found no real solution.

@conehead I’m not familiar with Hotmail personally, but I have found an article which claims that 3rd party apps are available for the purpose.
However, this may depend on the way you access Hotmail. If using Outlook, purge seems to be an option.
      Good luck!
