There is a Hot Fix available for the Access2007 bloating problem. Here is link, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960307%5B/url%5D, to MSKB article. You must request the hotfix be e-mailed to you. The description of issues fixed doesn’t include the bloating issue, but it does fix it (we were told they might get it added to the article later).

Thanks for posting this, especially since the MSKB article doesn’t mention yet that it fixes the bloating problem.
