Break out TreeSize free and see what is using all the space on disk 1.

      cheers, Paul

Joe is right on target — I just used this utility on my upgraded EX475 (1.3 HP software to 3.3) and it worked like a champ! Total of 6.5TB storage (50% full) and took overnight for the initial balance, but in the end each drive was 52-55% full instead of 1 at 90+.

I’m looking at getting the LX195 Home server. What experiences have you all had with the Windows home Servers. Good? Bad?

I sure could not find a download link on either of these references. When I click on the “download here” all I get is a an ad window. Not good.

I have had very good luck with WHS. I have an older EX475 that has done what I’ve needed. I added a 1TB drive internally and use a couple of 1TB external drives to backup the WHS server. I highly recommend it.

Be aware that HP is getting out of the WHS business. You should check on how long they will support the LX195. There are several other vendors. See Buy Windows Home Server for some examples.

Also, check out Mediasmartserver.net[/url] and the blog roll on that page for sites that have really good information on WHS.

I found that link earlier, but you have to be a member to download the program. I am trying to quit joining more forums, etc. I belong to so many now and seldom ever visit them. They just become another potential security threat to my personal information and another login to remember. But I will do what I have to do.
