he states: ” Co-management is a destination, and you can get started today by connecting ConfigMgr”

SCCM is not dead, not every site has the $$$ to afford the cloud services, other places refuse to put their stuff on the cloud due to privacy issues… we all know big brother is always watching (IMO)

After 25 years in IT, I finally work in an organisation where I *AM* actually treated like a hero (especially by the employees in their 60s and above). But then, I do run a tight ship, and nothing ever breaks because users can’t break it.

Although, we’re going to roll out Windows 10 next month, and I’m sure I’ll lose that tag then because those users don’t like change (old people like desktop like interfaces, not tablet-like displays) and there will be a lot of groaning coming my way.

And, if they force that new 20H2 look on everyone’s start menu, it’ll get even worse. At least with the current Win10 iteration I can give them a Start menu with their familiar apps on it.

No matter where you go, there you are.

No.  This is all written for directors and C-levels by marketing droids who have never touched a line of code. To please management people while simultaneously merging things into the new world order.

And we all know what that means.

      We are SysAdmins.
We walk in the wiring closets no others will enter.
We stand on the bridge, and no malware may pass.
We engage in support, we do not retreat.
      We live for the LAN.
      We die for the LAN.

SCCM was a rebrand of SMS, and it’s till running the same mid-90s tech under the covers.

Shame really, it’s just got to a stage where they’ve added useful features the sys admins have been requesting for years!
