Hi all,

I don’t have much use for this application but maybe some of you will: Hathor Media Server. As some may guess, it’s a streaming server. You can find a more detailed description in the above link.

Diegol, thanks for sharing this. I have an ideal application for it in my home LAN environment. I’m not sure I would want to open it up to the wide wide world on a PC that sits in the DMZ for my setup, I have a sneaking suspicion that such a use would be inviting legal complications. This looks like one to keep an eye on for me, though – I have a centralized file server where I store a lot of my media bits, and to have them accessible on the LAN with this app sounds like a treat.
