About once a day or once every other day, I will get the error shown below. This usually occurs the first time I start IE after my PC has not been in use for more than about 6 hours (like first time I use the PC after coming home from work).

Any ideas on what causes this or how to fix?

Have you tried bumping up to IE5.5SP2? Sometimes this will eliminate a corrupt file. If you want to live on the edge you can download IE6 RTM (release to manufacturing Build 2530) It is NOT on the MS web site. It is posted on a few European sites.

          Hi
I use IE 6 (build 2479). It has several useful enhancements over previous versions and so far has proved very stable. Accessories meant for IE5 seem to work without fault.
