My husband and I are both standard users that have Google Chrome. Mine is fine. His is missing the middle Google Search bar on the home page. The page is completely white and in order to go to the Google home page he has to click on the top left google word. The words google and gmail are not on the upper right side of the page.
Could he have malware?
Wow — thank you so much. I did the reset and now the page is back!
I previously had tried deleting Chrome on my IMac and reinstalling it but that did not work. Then I tried undoing the two extensions but that did not work either.
Resetting it to the Chrome default settings worked.
