    I have the following senerio

    1. I am logged into a Oracle application on the internet.

    2. On my Desktop I have an Access Form that I enter an account number, I have code in the form that copies the account number to the clipboard.

    3. I then click on the internet application icon (Taskbar and minimised programs) or Alt+Tab for the internet application focus

    4. Then I right click in the account number field and paste the clipboard account number into the Oracle internet applaction

The above works OK, however I would like to eliminate sterp 3

Is there a way in step 2 that I can give focus to the Oracle internet application after entering the Desktop account number?

    Thanks, John

If you know the exact caption of the Oracle window, you can use AppActivate. For example, I can set focus to the browser window with your question using the following instruction:

AppActivate “Go to A Specific Windows Taskbar From Access? (a2k (9.0.6926) SP-3 Jet 4.0”

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
