Go from one bullet list to another (2000)

I have the standard slide with a title and two bulleted lists next to each other. I would like to show the first bullet on the left side list and then show the first bullet on the right side list. Is this possible? Right now, I can only get the left side bullets to come in one at a time and then do the right side.

If you don’t see a template for it when you insert a new slide, you may have to create them manually, that is, stack a bunch of one-bullet text boxes in each column and assign the appropriate animation sequence to them. Hassle the first time, but you then can copy and re-use as needed.

I’ve attached a powerpoint presentation which does what you require – saved as .ppt so you will need to save as template if you want to.
Must get out more.
