Gmail Restoration Problem – need help…

My wife upgraded from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 12 a few weeks ago – before upgrading we backed up to iCloud so she could restore the backup to the iPhone 12 – her iPhone 7 had approximately 2000+ emails in her inbox, most of which were read, which dated back many years – when we restored the iCloud backup almost all of the emails were lost because Gmail only synced the inbox for 30 days (extendable to 90 days) so she has “lost” all of the historical emails which were not restored. We no longer have the iPhone 7 because it was traded in as part of the iPhone 12 purchase. I have been unable to restore the lost emails – does anyone have any suggestions as to how to restore them ?

Try to restore by logging to Gmail.
