Reliability Monitor shows dozens of “stopped working” messages for this – whatever it is.

They started on 6/6/24, which is the date that I installed Windows 11 22H2 over version 22H2 of Windows 10. in addition to this thing, many different apps also crash due at the same time. if i try to start them again they start right up, some won’t start at all. I ran sfc and chkdsk and they did not see any problems. Event viewer s

I have since installed win 11 23H2 before checking Reliability monitor and seeing all these errors. EventViewer seems to imply this might have something to do with .Net but I am not knowledgeable enough to understand all the verbiage associated with the error.

I would just like to know how to fix this.

I am sorry you have experienced this problem, but must have to do with something beyond the initial fact of installing a Win 11 version over a Win 10 version.

I had(have) two Win 10 computers which were eligible for Win 11 but I was afraid to take the upgrade. This is now many months ago . Wanting to get my feet wet with Win 11 I bought a third computer. On the new computer I really and surprisingly enjoyed the Win 11 experience. The best thing for me was the ability to search the system in plain text.

So, finally, I took the free upgrade and installed Win 11 first on one of the Win 10 machines and then on the other Win 10 machine.

Having now gone through several Win 11 iterations and now on 23H2 on all three machines I have so far not experienced a single problem.

While writing this I just searched on .net in System and found nothing useful. So I suggest that the problem is elsewhere.

I hope someone can send you something useful.

you are right, the problem looks like it was elsewhere, specifically some ASUS software that I installed that came with the new mother board that i had moved windows 10 to before upgrading to windows 11. Further research after I posted here implied that the ASUS software was involved. I uninstalled all of it last night and so far no application failures since then.

This was the last PC that I upgraded to Win 11, I have two laptops and two desktops that I upgraded months ago and have had on problems (so far) with them.
