How do I create a Gant Chart using Excel?

Try Q73281 which gives a method. Whilst at the KB site, do a search on Gantt and you should find more info and downloads.

This refers to older versions of Excel. I am using Excel 97. Is there any help there? I did the search at the website but nothing came up.

Of course you should ask yourself, “Is Excel the right tool for this job?” Visio or Project would be the tool of choice to generate a gant chart. On the other hand, if you don’t have those tools, then…
