I’ll be betting you never had to look at IBM mainframe operating system or program dumps, where you had a ~13″-wide page with a series of about 60 lines, each line having a start address in hexadecimal EBCDIC, the contents of lots of bytes to the right in EBCDIC, and on the far right the interpretation of each byte as a printable character, or a dot when it was sunprintable. There could be many hundreds of pages in this format, and your heart sank when you came back to your desk to find several Kg of paper dumped on it…!

Here‘s the sort of thing I mean, but it’s a much smaller size and in ASCII (and a .PNG)!

Where to start? This was fun for a while but I think first by using a language that I am more familiar with while I reply!

Bowlie, I’ll take your word for what your French sentence means since it makes sense. When I checked, both translating sites had the following as a result: My pleasure, my small cauliflower
One thing for sure, for me at least, cauliflower is very good veggie to have for dinner! Especially when it has buttered cracker crumbs drizzled over it.
