Has anybody had success ordering Microsoft Office 2000 Developer Service Release 1 (SR-1) Fulfillment CD as described in Q253566.

I got it when it was first released, which was some time ago now. According to the web page it is no longer available.

        Hi Charlotte

Any suggestions on how I might get a copy?

        Thanks, John

You can download it from http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/default.asp – you will need to expand the Office category and then find the Office Developer category, expand it, and it’s the bottom entry – it’s about 10 MB to download.

Finally jumped through all the MODSR1 hoops and it works.

              1. If you’re using the Package and Deployment Wizard, your shortcut options are very limited, and what are you trying to do with a /cmd “TOC” in an Access database?

              2. A runtime installation of Access (which is what you get if you include the Access runtime in your PDW setup) *does* run an mdb. However, there are things your application can’t do under runtime. What was your specific question?

              Hi Charlotte

The /cmd “TOC” simply allows me establish dynamic menu system and preferences for different client’s until I find a better way.

I’m not sure I understand. Are you saying that it runs fine the second time you click the button or that it runs fine directly from the macro but not from the button? What method would you use to run it from the macro in a runtime installation?

I’d suggest changing the query to run with owner’s permissions. That usually cures a lot of headaches in runtime installations. Add this as the last line of the SQL for the query and see if that cures it:

              WITH OWNERACCESS OPTION
