    Hi,

I’m a newbie in FTP retrieval and are trying to construct a small app. that retrieves XML files from a FTP site through Excel.
Subsequently it imports the XML file and modifies the data .

Question is on the data retrieval.

    1. Folder has a varying number of files
    2. Names are unknown (only that last part of the names contains ‘VaryingName_yyyymmdd.xml’)
    3. The files have 4 different types of data – all in XML
    4. ‘Most recent’ of each of the 4 types should be extracted from the FTP site

Does anyone know of a simple way of doing this??
