    Hello,

I am looking for an FTP Client that is easy to use. I need it to transfer files around.
I would like it to be as easy as coping and pasting files and folders from one location to another in Windows.

    Thanks

FileZilla gets a lot of positive reviews.

I have used Core FTP for several years now.

I too use CoreFTP, the price is right and it is more than adequate for my simple needs!

CoreFTP is great, but I was hoping for something with more of the look and feel of Windows Explorer.
Similar to accessing an ftp address from IE 6, but with more flexibility and features.

I’ve never used IE for FTP but what’s wrong with the local & remote explorer windows in CoreFTP, don’t they look exactly Like Windows Explorer?

If you’re using Firefox try the FireFTP addin.
You can do it all in your browser.

I tried the FireFTP Addon, which I liked and it is very similar to CoreFTP,
so I have decided to stick with CoreFTP because I would prefer a standalone program outside of FireFox.

Thanks to everyone for your helpful advice.

If you have choice use SFTP instead of FTP; FTP is terribly insecure. For SFTP I use and recommend open-source WinSCP. If you want a “seamless” SFTP/Windows Explorer interface I really recommend ExpanDrive which allows you to mount an SFTP site as a Windows drive letter; it’s not free but worth every penny: http://www.expandrive.com/. Of course, if you use Linux you can just treat any FTP/SFTP site as though it were a local drive.
