Trying to upload I get the following error message:
“Server error: Error 2 opening registry key ‘SOFTWAREMicrosoftShared toolsWebServer ExtensionsPortsPort 80”
Checking in my registry I found that ‘Ports 80’ is missing.
Since I cannot upload anything I’m in serious trouble. Please, please: anyone now how to solve this problem???
I re-installed FP2000 but there’s no change!!! Help, help, I have to upload new material urgently!!
The only change I made recently was to add the Jimco GoldPack.
I’ve had no trouble in the last year or so until now

The following Microsoft support article addresses your error message:
      http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/ar…FR=0&qry=server error port 80&rnk=7&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=FP2000[/url]

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I couldn’t do as the M/soft KB article suggested. Using regedit I navigate to Web Server Extensions but that’s as far as I can go because there is no Security menu or Permissions to click on, no dialogue box to go any further. Maybe I’m missing something as I rarely if ever go into the registry.
What’s really mysterious is that transferring the web site to the old machine it was first created on, I get the same message. FP extensions on my host have always been present because on neither machine have I had any trouble uploading Whereas now both machines won’t work. This is very worrying!!
