I have always found the UI for Formula Auditing to be too mouse intensive. The attached Add-In (Selective_Auditing.xla), is my humble attempt to improve the situation. When attached, it will add the Sel Auditing menu to the Worksheet Menu Toolbar. I believe that this UI is sufficiently intuitive that no instructions are necessary. The code is open. Please try it out and advise me of any faults which you find either in the philosophy, implementation or code. The speed tests which I have run indicate that the time penalty in changing the cell selection is:
* Less than 0.5 ms with the add-in attached but neither precedents nor dependents selected for display.
* Less than 2 ms with both precedents and dependents selected for display.
These delays should not be noticeable when operating manually, but should be considered when determining whether to Enable Events during macro execution.
