I understand there is a way to show data in proportion to each other when the actual data is way off. For example, if you have 12 months and in January and July, sales are $5billion dollars but in April, May and Sept, sales are only $2 million. On a chart, you can set the values such that your max is $5 billion, your minimum to 0 (so that you show the really low months) and then your major unit in increments of $100,000, or whatever. However, the values format very small and the graphs are really large. So much that you can barely see your lowest values. I’ve seen where the values are incremented by 500 and then jump all of the sudden to an extrordinarily high value to support the higher numbers. Some graphs even have jagged edges at the very top to show that there will be a jump in the values. Anyone that can help, I’d appreciate it.

Depending on your data, you could try formatting the value axis with a logarithmic scale.
