We have an unbound textbox on a report whose control source property is a formula to concatonate several calculated fields. One of the concatonated fields is a number that we want displayed as US currency. (eg. $15.40). When we preview the report, the currency formatting does not work. We end up with 15.4 instead of $15.40. Any ideas?

Instead of concatenating the field value itself, use the format function to make it look like what you want:
      = ….. & format(somefield,”currency”) & ….
