Hi,

I want to know if , and therefore how, I can format the Check Box Form Field from the Forms menu in Word.

On the menu, this item is shown with a tick. In reality in the template, it is filled in with a x. What if I want a tick? or a dot?

While I am here, is it possible to make it look like a radio button?

The template I want to create has a grid for the users to fill out. I think it would look better as a radio button than either a tick or a cross. Any ideas?

Can you use the OptionButton from the Control Toolbox?

I looked at that, but it gives me far more than I need. It seems to want code and properties. I just want the users to be able to ‘click to tick’ with out making too much fuss.

This is the only way I know to achieve what you want.

You don’t have to write any code to go with the OptionButtons, and so long as you only have one set of option buttions on the form you don’t need to modify any properties.

But I will need more than one set. The form is a questionaire where there is a range of responses to multiple options within a question. And there are 5 questions.

I may just stick with the crosses.

You can create several groups of option buttons from the Control Toolbox without programming.
If you right-click an option button while in design mode and select Properties from the popup menu, you can set the GroupName property.
Give each option button in a group the same GroupName. The GroupName must be unique for each group.
