    I’m trying to format a concatenated string so one half of the string has bold format and the other half is normal text. I hoped to find something like
    MyString = Format(“MyDate”, “Long Date”)& ” ” & ” is my Birthday”)
    for bold text (and underline for that matter) but have had no luck. This seems like it should be simple but I am stumped.
    Thanks!

      You are stumped because there is no way to do what you want in Access. All formatting in Access is applied at the control level, so everything in a control is formatted the same way. You might be able to use a Rich Textbox to achieve this, but I’ve never worked with them, so that is only a guess.

        Thanks Mark. That’s what I feared but was still hopeful. Thanks a lot.
