I have a form that is being executed directly from a switchboard, and while I am working on the form, I can go forward and backward, looking at the records. Yet when I exit the database and go back in, I can’t see the records. The form is linked to a table, and I can go into the table and see the records. Is this just a newbie error?

      Check these possibilities:

      • The form is being opened by the switchboard in Add mode instead of Edit mode. To check this, use the Switchboard Manager (Tools/Database Utilities), and see what command is associated to the item that opens the form.
      • The form is set to allow creating new records only. Open the form in design mode. In the Data tab of the Properties window, look at the value of DataEntry. If it’s set to Yes/True, the form will not display existing records.
[/list]If this doesn’t solve the problem, post back.

It was the second item you mentioned. Thanks!
