Stab in the dark – I’m assuming that the first thing you see when you reactivate the computer from the screensaver is the Welcome Screen with icons for each user, indicating whether any have programs running? Fast User Switching enables you to have multiple users logged on simultaneously, so you are always given the option to log in as someone else. If you don’t like this behaviour, you can change it through Control Panel | User Accounts and then under he Pick a Task heading, choose “Change the way users log on or off”. By deselecting the option “Use the Welcome Screen”, you should go back to the traditional W2K way of logging on, which will give you the simple box with the name of the last user logged in by default. Let me know if this helps.
