Microsoft Windows Update—CISA October 29 Deadline Has Now Passed

..Timing-wise, the interesting twist with this October warning is the 900 million Windows 10 users yet to move to Windows 11, now just a year away from end-of-life meaning end of support, which will cut off those users from updates such as this. Worse, there are also a reported 50 million Windows users on even older legacy versions of the OS, which means their machines are wide open to these threats…

* 900 Million is a huge number. As some hundred million Windows 10 PC are not Windows 11 compatible moving them all to Windows 11 seems unrealistic.

Raising my hand. I am one of those people. Finally I am in the news. My 5 min of fame with all the other millions users. I still use Windows Xp and have Windows 98 as my main computer. I do not have money to buy new computer. I need money for food which is more important. I can not feed the Microsoft with money that I barely have.

Yes, and the prices of human necessities such as food, clothing, toiletries, housing, etc., etc., etc. keep going up in spite of us being told that inflation is under control.

Even astrophysicist Carl Sagan when speaking astronomically used Billions, not Trillions.
