Hello everyone. I have a billing statement report which is printed on perforated paper, where the bottom section is a tear-off remittance advice. This section is currently defined as a page footer. For certain companies, this statement is multiple pages, and, obviously, the footer is on every page. I was wondering if there’s a way to have this footer just print on the first page, and have the entire real estate on pages 2+ available for the detail and group footers. This would save some paper, as well as make the statements look better.

I’ve been successful in coding it to print the footer on page 1 only, but I can’t make the real estate available on successive pages. I’ve played with the Visible and Height properties, and PrintSection for both On Format and On Print events.

As an alternative, I’ve used a report footer instead, but I can’t find a way to specify it to start printing at the perf.

I was sure I could get one of these approaches to work. However, I’m ready to tell the users it can’t be done … unless any of you experts can point me in the right direction!!

    Thanks in advance!

    Mike
