I have outlook 2003 SP3 with HTML Message format. The Satiionery is None and Fonts is defaulted. When I send emails and everything looks fine to me and receiver. However, after the receiver replied my email, the From, Sent, To and Subject became red font; the body of my original email is fine. It happened to all receivers.

I have checked my outlook setting and made all the settings become default. But it won’t help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

The problem is probably on the recipient’s side, I don’t think you can do anything about it.

        Thanks, Hans.

But all the recievers have the same problem. I have tested with different email accounts.

        Regards,

Hans is correct that recipient/sender/subject line fonts, etc. are not set by message, they are set at system level. Are these users all using Outlook?

EDIT: Also, is this how the message appears when it is opened, or how it appears in the Inbox window?

When I reply to an HTML message, it appears Outlook chooses Tahoma 10pt Black (or Auto, hard to say) for the header it inserts over the previous message. I don’t think I personally set that anywhere….

Do your correspondents see a more typical color for that header information when they compose their replies, or do they see Red as well?

And of course, you are using Outlook’s native HTML editor/viewer, not MS Word, right?

They all see Red and using the Outlook’s native HTML.
