This isn’t about improving the Forum, but instead is about improving the Newsletter.

I would like to see the date of the Newletter somewhere at the beginnng of an article that I access via link.

Here’s a screenshot of an article that I accessed via a link. The article comes up, but it doesn’t give the date of the Newsletter in which it appeared. Of course, I can scroll all the way up to find the Newsletter date, but I didn’t start out at the top—I landed here at the point this article begins and it’d like to know how how ago this article was published. It would be great to see the date somewhere in the red square in small print

I see your point. It’s not something we can automate, which means I’d have to do it manually. Since I took the helm of the newsletter, the number of things I do manually has steadily increased. My manual box is full.

However, you should be able to do the following in most browsers. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Home to snap to the top of the page. You’ll see the date and the table of contents. Click the title of the article to get back to it instantly.

Could you tell me how you got to the article? Did you search for it using our search tools? Find it with a Google search? Other? I’m very interested in user experiences.
