Folder Title bar (2000)

How can I hide the large, gray folder title bar (just below the toolbars) in Outlook 2000? This is taking up too much space and the info it shows is already posted in two other places on my little screen. Excuse me if this has already been addressed, I couldn’t seem to find the info!

Try going to the View menu and choose Outlook Bar. This should toggle that bar off.

I’m sorry, I’m referring to the horizontal bar, not the vertical bar with the buttons. This horizontal bar does nothing but display the folder name and take up about 2 text lines of screen real estate on my little screen.

it can’t be removed. it also disaplys the address bar, which can be hidden and provide access to the folder tree for those who choose to hide it.
