    FlashPeak-SlimJet Browser, a CHROME ‘lookee-likee’.
A general exchange of views would be appreciated. Looks like it would be a an acceptable alternate browser. Hopefully, the ‘LOUNGE’ will sound it out ?

When Google dropped Chrome support for Linux 32bit in March 2016, the Flashpeak Slimjet browser seemed a good replacement. But I found that with Slimjet on my Linux Mint 17.3 32 bit system, I could not browse the web while downloading stuffs, eg videos, at the same time. No such QOS problem with Firefox.
Slimjet is more customizable than Chrome.

Previously, Linux did not hv support from Adobe Flashplayer since 2012 = the Firefox for Linux Flashplayer plugin stuck at version 11. Recently(around Dec 2016), Adobe Flashplayer resumed support for Linux = the FF for Linux Flashplayer plugin could be updated to the latest version 24 = could play all Flash videos. So, I hv uninstalled Slimjet since Dec 2016.
Since early 2016, Firefox has implemented support for most of the DRM-protected contents, eg at video n music streaming websites that require payment like Netflix.
Palemoon and Cyberfox/Waterfox are derivatives of Firefox.
