Flash Player update

A while back Secunia said my Flash Player needed updating. So I ran an update but Secunia said there were still part of the old version showing up. So I uninstalled Flash Player and download an update. Now when I try to install, I get the message, “Close brccmctl” . When doing a search, it shows it on my genealogy software but nowhere else. I have every application shut down when I try the update. Any ideas how to solve this would be appreciated.:confused:

Have you tried to reboot and then try the installation again?

Yes, I did a reboot several times, tried the reinstall several times. Then yesterday Flash Player showed up with what I guess is it’s new version of asking for permission when I go to a site needing Flash Player. Not quite sure what happened, but I am glad it is now working. Seems like a lot of sites use Flash Player.
